Course Description

“All on X” is the most rehabilitating treatment modality for most patients who are edentulous or soon to be edentulous. As more and more clinicians transition over to “graftless” surgery, site specific implants become increasingly important.

This is a 2-day full scope course covering every aspect of treatment of the atrophic maxilla with respect to immediate loading. This course will be hosted by Dr. Simon Oh, Dr. Robert Mogyoros and Dr. Dan Moore.

Dr. Simon Oh
DDS, FICOI

Dr. Simon Oh grew up in Maryland where he received his Bachelors of Science at the University of Maryland – College Park in Physiology and Neurobiology. He then graduated with honors at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he achieved the highest national board scores in his class. He was a member of several honors societies, including the OKU honors society, and won many scholarships for academic and clinical achievement. Dr. Oh was also the lead guitar player of his band, InciDental.

After finishing his dental education, Dr. Oh furthered his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Here he received extensive inpatient and outpatient training in conditions ranging from impacted wisdom teeth and dental implants, to major facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Oh is also a published author in the Journal of Maxillofacial Trauma.

Today, Dr. Oh serves as Chief Clinical Officer and Chief of Implantology of ProSmile, the largest DSO in the region, overlooking clinical operations of over 200 dentists and dental specialists. As a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr Oh has special interest in dental implant surgery , the All-on-X full mouth reconstruction concept, nonconventional implants such as zygomatic implants , teeth in one day , and bone regeneration . With Dr Oh’s unique skill set acquired from training around the world, he leaves no patients behind, even if they have “no bone.”

In addition to being voted by his fellow dentists as Top Dentist in Philadelphia Magazine in 2019 and 2020, Dr Oh has also been selected as one of the top 40 dentists under 40 in the United States by Incisal Edge Magazine in 2020 for his clinical skills, involvement in education, and leadership in the dental field.

Dr. Oh lectures, mentors, and trains doctors, nationally and internationally, on implant surgery on a regular basis for many different implant companies. He focuses on delivering the highest quality, empathetic care to his patients, in the most pain-free manner possible. Dr. Oh enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with his wife Sophie, son Cameron, daughter Claire, and their two dogs, Max and Mandi.

Robert Mogyoros
DMD

Dr. Mogyoros is a native of Denver, CO. He came to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving his BA, he was admitted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated near the top of his class. He was then admitted to a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Thomas Jefferson University hospital where he was elected chief resident in his final year. 

Dr. Mogyoros was then accepted to a prestigious Implant Surgical fellowship (only one fellow per year is accepted) at the Colorado Institute for Tissue Engineering. During his fellowship, he completed over 2,000 dental implant and bone grafting procedures. While there, Dr. Mogyoros also did some original research in the area of bone regeneration and grafting. This work has been published in professional journals and textbooks.

Dr. Mogyoros is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to bone grafting and implants. His lectures have been as close to home as down the block to as far away as Israel! Dr. Mogyoros has a dedication to patient care in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and implant dentistry.

Dr. Mogyoros is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Mogyoros shared his knowledge with the future of dentistry at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, where he used to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Dan Moore

DMD

Dr. Moore is a Prosthodontics specialist from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He went to college right here in Philadelphia, attending Temple University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Moore was then admitted to Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated magna cum laude with his D.M.D. degree. He later attended the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine where he received his specialty training in prosthodontics, serving as the Chief Resident in the Graduate Prosthodontics Program. 

During his additional 3 years of dental education, Dr. Moore received advanced training in surgical and restorative dental implant therapy, esthetic reconstruction, full mouth rehabilitation, crown & bridge, and complete denture therapy.

Dr. Moore is currently the president of the Pennsylvania Prosthodontics Association. He has held numerous leadership positions in the past, such as being the president of his dental class. He is currently a member of several national dental organizations including the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Moore is also an active member in the local dental community – He is a member of the Academy of Stomatology, the Dental Society of Chester and Delaware County, and regularly attends local study clubs. Dr. Moore’s advanced training has allowed him to lecture to colleagues on topics including dental implants and complex esthetic restorations.
